Curriculum
Sunday School: Right now, we are reading out of Max Lucado’s A Love Worth Giving which is a study of 1 Corinthians 13. Before this, we read Max Lucado’s He Chose the Nails about all the symbols surrounding Jesus’ crucifixion. We read one chapter and then discuss the questions from the back of the book.

Afternoon Youth Group: Currently, the theme for our afternoon youth group is daily pressures of teenagers. We have discussed things like dating, peer pressure, and friendship. We start with a small snack, have a short administration meeting, play games that relate to the theme, and then end with a devotional.

The youth is also active in the Presbytery: In the spring 2010, the Senior Highs went to Grace Presbytery’s SHYC in Sherman.  The Middle Schoolers will be attending Youthquake in April at Camp Gilmont

Mission
Goodland Academy: For the past three summers, we have gone to Goodland Academy in Hugo, Oklahoma. This is a Presbyterian academy for boys who cannot live at home. We go for a week and help them with work around the academy. The first summer we painted classrooms and moved their weights from one building to another. The second summer we repainted hallways and classrooms. The third summer we replanted bushes and started organizing their library. This summer we are going to help them set up another building for more classrooms.

Advisors:
The Stovals and Walters have all been members at Faithbridge Presbyterian Church for 9+ years.  They have all been ordained in the church as elders or deacons.  They share their faith, being witnesses of a Christian marriage, sharing their experiences, and providing a positive atmosphere for the youth of Faithbridge to meet Christ.

Tucker and Cheryl Stovall have been married for 16 years (the last 13 in Frisco) with four children:.. Scott and Jennifer Walters have been married for 14 years and have two children. They moved back to the area almost 13 years ago and they currently are living in Little Elm within the Frisco ISD boundary.
